Dear AMC 12 Highland village I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at AMC Movie 12. I attended a screening on Sunday 8/11/2024 and I was extremely uncomfortable due to the temperature inside the theater. It was noticeably hot, making it difficult to enjoy the movie. I approached one of the employees and informed them of the issue, expecting it to be resolved quickly. However, despite my complaint, nothing was done to address the situation. The temperature remained uncomfortably high throughout the entire movie, which significantly affected my overall experience. I have always enjoyed coming to AMC theaters, but this experience was far below the standard I have come to expect. I believe that maintaining a comfortable environment is a basic expectation for any movie theater, and I am disappointed that this was not met during my visit. I hope that you can address this issue to ensure that other patrons do not have to endure similar discomfort. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could take steps to ensure that customer complaints are handled more effectively in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Poor quality screens and sound. For some reason films come off dull. Then I saw the same film at another theater and it was vibrant and as exciting as I had thought, the film should’ve been. In addition every time I have gone to this theater in the past few years, the bathrooms are disgusting. Even the handicap/family bathroom, also disgusting. It’s not one person who happened to get ill, when it’s each bathroom, each time. Please, please hire someone who is a professional cleaner instead of whatever is happening there. This could be a really great theater and there are so many people that live in the area that would love to enjoy themselves here if you could just take care of the place and updated a little bit. I’m an A-list member and really want to spend my three days a week in this theater instead of having to drive to a different city. Thanks so much!
Ridiculously hot in the theatre on a Saturday night date night. I didn’t spend time getting ready for a date to sit in a theater and SWEAT. This is the third or fourth time I’ve experienced this at this theatre. Something is wrong with the temperature and until it’s fixed; I’m not coming back. You can’t even enjoy the movie. Ugh… this is in my neighborhood and I can’t enjoy watching a movie here.
I went there on a Wednesday afternoon, probably about 12-1. I had planned this day date with my husband for days, got a babysitter and everything. We were so excited but right before the movie started, they stopped the previews and told us the movie wasn’t supposed to be showing and it was an error on their end. They refunded our movie ticket but not our popcorn or drinks. I think they stopped the movie because only two people were in the audience. Crappy service in a nice area. We had to go to Denton for another showing.
So I usually don't do reviews but this an awful theatre with horrible communication. Yesterday my wife came to the theatre and spoke with 2 young ladies at the front for the exclusive wolverine popcorn bucket. They advised her she has to have a movie ticket and that there is plenty in stock. She said I want to make sure I can get a bucket before I buy the ticket. They assured her there is plenty. She then goes to purchase the bucket and they tell her they sold out for the day and won't refund her. I was told by one of the managers that you can only trust the people in button downs. I think a response like that is beyond dumb, how would we know that. So another manager tells me because of the situation he will put a bucket on the side for us for tomorrow. Today July 26th, I come in and another manager here in a red button down with curly hair already has attitude tells me they didn't put one aside for us. Horrible communication from manager to employees. Even bigger waste of money and time for me and my wife. AVOID THIS PLACE!!
