Over the years, three generations of our family have dined at Campisi's. Whether a family celebration, a birthday, or graduation party, you can always count on consistently good food. When our son got engaged, there was no question where he wanted the rehearsal dinner. We hosted 60 people in the larger Stone Street side of the Elm Street location. It had a nice ambiance, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. For starters we chose pizza, crab claws and toasted ravioli, and for dinner - lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, shrimp scampi and penne with chicken. Kim, the catering sales director, was easy to work with, and had great suggestions. All in all it was a wonderful evening and a great way to kick off a celebratory weekend!
A classic Italian restaurant experience! No rush; great ambience and décor; attentive and friendly service; and really delicious food. I ordered their porkchop special with a side of spinach, (And it was even better as leftovers!) and my son ordered a steak. If I'm back in Dallas, I'm definitely coming back here!
Came here because it was close to my hotel but I will never come back to this establishment. People who work there are unprofessional cursing and acting like children in front of the customer, but that’s not why I wouldn’t be back. The food is HORRIBLE!!!!! A waste of money, I got the chicken Parm sub Alfredo instead of red sauce. The pasta was trash no flavor! The chicken wasn’t bad had a little flavor. I wouldn’t come back
Food was awesome and tasted really good. The cheeses, spices, and sauces were very well balanced and complimented each other. The only negative thing I have to say is that the restaurant has very dim lighting. It was too much for our taste.
I came in early on a Wednesday afternoon so it was not busy at all. Since it was slow I thought the service was just fine and I got my food pretty quickly. The inside is rather dark but I didn’t mind too much. But the food!! I was particularly hungry from walking around so I ordered the Garlic toast with cheese and a small BBQ chicken pizza. The garlic bread came out with this amazing marina sauce, I was in heaven, it was the perfect cheesy garlic bread starter and the pizza just topped it all off! They did a great job with the toppings and didn’t skimp for what I paid for it. I definitely left full and satisfied!
