My children have been seen here for 5 years. Dr Terrell is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. She has identified issues and given referrals when my kids have needed them to great doctors. I’m thankful I found such an amazing doctor for my kids since moving to Keller. Highly recommend.
Looking back I would have kept my children far away from Cooks Children. Most doctors within the system promote an agenda. Post Pandemic we now know they just want us sick and reliant on the system as we are cash cows sick. Wake up parents, educate yourself and save your babies from our corrupt medical system.
We've been with cook (previously with Dr. Garza and now with Dr. Torres) since my kids birth. We love this place, we love the front desk staff, nurses and the doctors. Easy appointment scheduling, responds to portal messages quickly. Dr. Torres has great bedside manners. She is very patient, very humble, pleasant and experienced. Most of the time they can give you same day appointment. Thank you so much for all you do
I absolutely hate this place. Dr Garza has impacted my life significantly, in a bad way. I was with Garza for 6 years and I explained to her countless times that I was getting full so quickly that I wasn't able to eat enough to survive and she didn't even try to figure it out. I was sent immediately to a specialist, which is an expensive trend at cooks children's. I had 6 tests done and after every single one came back negative she wouldn't call to set up a new appointment or send in another test. I had to psychically go in every time and beg her to help/believe me which was hard to do post covid lockdown. She came to the conclusion that I either had an eating disorder of some kind or I wasn't eating the right foods. Fast forward to now and I had celiac disease and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome the entire time. Eating gluten was flaring my POTS symptoms and I could have been treated and changed my eating habits years ago, instead, im a sophomore in college with a damaged small intestine struggling to stand up without fainting and having to sit on the floor of the dining hall bathrooms after eating 2 bites because Im so nauseous. I switched to someone who believed me and all it took was one visit and blood work to get diagnosed with celiac disease. DO BETTER.
I’m praying moms see this review (and the many other negative ones) and do not bring their children to this place under any circumstance. Run in the opposite direction.
