The food was good but not what I was expecting. My Milanese was good but my fiancés was not good at all. He said it tasted like grass and dirt. The margaritas were amazing! The service was also great! Maybe we’ll just try something different next time

Fresh flour tortillas, amazing ambiance, friendly staff, and great tasting entrees. The pan dulce (sweet bread) looked amazing but we were too stuffed to eat more. These dishes were not on the menu but, they accommodated upon request. Their salsa is my favorite. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I did however, knock off a star for service because the took nearly an hour to come out and it wasn’t piping hot, as if it had been forgotten a bit. To give some grace, the restaurant was fairly busy. I’ve been to both of their locations several times and the food and friendly staff is a constant. This is a treat for us for breakfast/brunch despite being 30min away, it is totally worth the drive.

Stopped by yesterday with a friend, and the place reeked of sewer water! We sat inside, but the smell made us gag the whole time. I still tried the food, but it was a letdown. Portions were huge, which was nice, but the taste wasn't that great. I got the picadillo, and my friend got the chilaquiles en salsa verde.

Service was good, I used to come often, has been a few years. Was excited to stop in with my mother today, we both ordered guisado, it was not guisado. It was meat pulled from the caldo de res, when we got the plate it was flooded with soup juice. Guisado is chile gravy sauce. Everything on my plate was soupy and I just didn't enjoy it. 😒

I love the patio on a warm day. Food is usually good. Tortillas are homemade and big. Waitstaff takes a very long time to come check on us. The bakery has a delicious variety of sweet bread (pan de dulce) I get my bread when I walk in because it will be all gone. Parking lot is small. Hard to find parking close by for handicapped people.
