We only stayed one night but it was a great experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The temperature control was easy to adjust. The bed was comfortable. They only offer valet parking but there is quite a bit of street parking if you want to utilize that. We stayed on a Saturday night so there was no time limit on Sunday and we were able to walk around the area before we checked out in the morning. It's in a fantastic location, just across the street from a great park and nature reserve. Lots of places to eat nearby and they have a nice restaurant in the hotel. I look forward to staying here again so we can explore the area more while staying in a comfortable and clean hotel.
The Holman Hotel in Salem is so clean I half-expected a monk to float down the hallway humming in pure serenity—except instead it was me, sliding in my socks across those spotless floors like Tom Cruise in Risky Business. The staff treated me like royalty who’d just won the cleanliness lottery, and the décor? It’s like Joanna Gaines and James Bond had a baby and decorated a hotel. I slept so well I briefly forgot my own name, and the shower pressure could power-wash the sins off a small village. Honestly, I considered canceling the rest of my life just to live here full-time.
I was in town for a company meeting and Holman Riverfront is just a couple minutes away. When I arrived Iwas warmly greeted and assisted with check-in, and when the concierge saw what room I had, he immediately switched rooms citing tjat there was a noisy hvac unit on the roof above, and he didn't want me to have any issues. I went to the room and it wasa bit warm and the ac only went down to 67 so he had one of the techs come and unlock it for me to get it down to 62. Perfect. The only issue was that the valet was full so I had to go a couple blocks over to a public garage but it was free on the first 2 levels so it all worked out. I absolutely recommend this Hilton, and I will be staying here again as we have functions there often. Thanks to everyone who helped and I apologize that I don't remember your names.
We arrived here Christmas Day, you are required to use Valet and it was really nice to have. We pulled upfront took out our luggage and went to the front desk to check in. We had our room key right away and headed into the room. Front desk staff and valet were working really hard as I believe they were running a small staff due to the holiday. The room was spacious and clean and the food we ordered for room service was very tasty. We would stay again for sure. It was a one night stay as we were on a road trip.
I recently stayed here for business about 2 weeks ago. The people above me were stomping on the floor and woke me out of a dead sleep from1-2am, and I had to call the front desk for help. The people barely stopped even after the front desk made contact. It was a rough night of sleep, and the street noise was extremely loud coupled with the people upstairs. I also booked through Capital One, and when I arrived, I was informed that the room that I pre-booked AND PAID for was not available, and that my room was downgraded. When I asked for compensation, the hotel told me to talk to Capital One. When I tried to go through Capital One, they said they are trying to talk to the hotel. Its been a 2 week mess of no one accepting responsibility.
